Intern Coach
The internship program at Strength Camp SF was a transformative experience that elevated my fitness coaching career. It offered a cohesive blend of conceptual and applied learning—from human anatomy and exercise programming frameworks to hands-on instruction with fitness implements like barbells, kettlebells, cable machines, sandbags, tires, and more.
Throughout the internship, I gained over 100 hours of real-world coaching experience leading group strength and conditioning classes across upper body, lower body, and full-body workout formats. With mentorship and guidance from five uniquely skilled coaches, I learned how to cue effectively, support multiple clients with diverse needs, and refine my own leadership style as a coach.
Working alongside a cohort of motivated interns made the experience even more collaborative and energizing. Most importantly, the thoughtful investment from the Strength Camp SF team in the internship accelerated my growth — equipping me with the knowledge, confidence, and hands-on skills I now apply regularly in my own coaching practice.
I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to build a strong foundation and gain meaningful, real-world experience as a strength and conditioning coach.
