Strength Camp Coach
Jesiah was born and raised in San Francisco’s Bayview Hunters Point with his mother, father, and little sister. He played many competitive sports growing up since the age of 4. He played tackle football for the San Francisco Brown Bombers from ages 5 to 11 and also played all four years in high school. He was formerly introduced to weight training by his strength and conditioning coach in high school who inspired him to continue training hard. After graduating, Jesiah began to focus more on building a foundation in health and fitness.
After working out in many different commercial gyms, Jesiah found himself wanting something better than what most had to offer. After doing some research, he found Strength Camp SF with the help of his mother, who started off as a 6-week challenger. Jesiah was a member at Strength Camp SF for several months before gaining interest in becoming a coach here. He was inspired by the leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills that all the coaches demonstrated.
Jesiah’s goal was to help and motivate others to continue exercising. Helping others has always given him a sense of purpose. When he was given the opportunity to become an intern at Strength Camp SF, it marked a turning point that allowed him to gain direction and begin developing his professional identity.
